LINGOR ISLAND OPS

Lingor Island Map DayZ
Most buildings are enterable
Map is smaller, resulting in more contacts and less running
Tropical islands mean boats are more useful
Servers typically are private hives, so no ghosting
Tons of new skins, models, vehicles
Plenty of choke points at bridges
Our usual server is DayZ Dallas or RP East, The admin and their clan is
pretty good about minimizing hackers and great friendly competition for us!
With the recent technical difficulties on our home server, some of the core group has tried out the new unofficial map,

- Have Arma 2 and Arma 2 operation arrowhead installed, the
latest DayZ patch and the latest beta patch (you need this to play the
normal map so you should have this already) - Download: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=10792
open it up and put the @lingor folder in your Operation Arrowhead
folder. If using Steam, the default path is C:\Program
Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead - (non-steam
default path is C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2) - Download: http://narod.ru/disk/59277481001.cc07e547f134147b9c7483dc603aded5/%40dayz_lingor_034_full.7z.html
open it up and put contents (@dayz_lingor, @lingor, keys) in your
Operation Arrowhead folder. Choose to overwrite existing files. If
using Steam, the default path is C:\Program
Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead - (non-steam
default path is C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2) - Start your game with shortcut "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch"
(found in default install path) - (Steam Players with Combined
Operations, start with
-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;ca;@lingor;@dayz_lingor -
NOT SURE IF THIS WORKS. RECOMMEND USING THE BETA PATCH LAUNCHER METHOD) - From in-game Menu, choose "Expansions" and "Enable" all three Lingor mods.
- Choose "Yes" to restart game.
- From in-game Menu, choose "Multiplayer" and then "Filter" - set mission to "dayz lingor" and apply.
- ENJOY!

Thanks for posting this!
And for me this kinda brought new life into dayz!
Now it hurts to die, you lose EVERYTHING you worked so hard for!
Also, even if the consequences for hacking is far from as severe as in rockets hive, there is less hacking and ppl dont alt+f4 as soon as they hear a bullet close to them!
And the admins are allowed to do something about the hackers!
They are also allowed to ban ppl who yell "HACKER" ;P
And for me this kinda brought new life into dayz!

Yep, admins with no accountability for their actions are quite finicky with who gets banned, so the best option is to not troll the chat with abuse or hacking claims

I'm having trouble getting the downloads to work for me...
I downloaded both fine, followed all the steps, but the second download was missing 2 folders, Keys and one of the lingor ones.
Also what teamspeak are we using for lingor?

there was an update yesterday, so the installation isnt quite the same as the wiki unless you use lingor version 032
pop in teamspeak and we can help you out
