DayZ Standalone Engine?

Is it offical on which game engine they will use for the DayZ standalone?
And if so could someone kindly link me some information on what the engine is capable of / will do better than the ArmA 2 engine?

I have heard that they are gonna use the Arma 3 engine.

Its going to use a variation of the Real Virtuality engine, which is used for ArmA 1-3 and some other simulators. So while it might not use the ArmA III game engine per say, its still using the tools available for ArmA III.

Rocket have said he will use "Real Virtuality 4" for dayz standalone =) i have linked to were he said that once befor but i could look up the link again if needed
